Custom Magnetic Gift Box with Ribbon

We start with the product dimensions and intended arrangement, including inserts, tissue paper and accessories. The usable internal dimensions must accommodate the complete set and allow easy removal. External dimensions are confirmed separately because the board, wrapping and box construction add to the finished size.

For a medium-sized magnetic gift box, we recommend starting with 2.0 mm greyboard and a 157 gsm coated art-paper wrap for printed designs.

• 1.5 mm：Small boxes containing lightweight jewelry or accessories
• 2.0 mm：Medium-sized cosmetic, apparel and general gift boxes
• 2.5–3.0 mm：Larger boxes, heavier products and multi-item gift sets

Printed wrapping paper is typically 128–157 gsm; textured specialty papers are selected separately. The final board specification depends on box dimensions, lid span, packed weight and insert construction, and is confirmed using a physical sample.

Choose full-color printing for illustrations and patterns, hot foil stamping for metallic logos, embossing or debossing for raised or recessed details, and spot UV for selective gloss. For a simple branded design, we recommend a matte finish with one foil-stamped logo, subject to compatibility with the selected paper.

Paperboard dividers suit separating lightweight items and organizing gift sets. A fitted EVA foam insert is worth considering when products need shaped cavities and cushioning. For bottles or multi-item sets, specify each cavity’s dimensions and depth, with finger notches where needed for easy removal.

Ribbon specifications can include material, width, color, length and logo printing. Satin ribbon provides a smooth, lustrous finish; grosgrain offers a ribbed texture. Position repeated logos so they remain visible after tying, and confirm whether the ribbon will be attached to the box or supplied separately.

Flat packing requires a collapsible box structure. A fixed rigid box is supplied assembled. If storage space and freight volume are priorities, request a collapsible design during development. Its corner construction, assembly method and ribbon attachment need to be confirmed before calculating the packed dimensions.
